Bushwacked Again

In a story that’s getting very little press coverage, birth control prices on many college campuses have skyrocked because The Deficit Reduction Act (DRA) was passed by Congress in 2006.

A long standing law helped college health clinics buy birth control at reduced prices, therefore passing on the savings to the student bodies. As a result of the DRA, millions of women are now paying 300-500 percent more for birth control.
